"Coding, Sensing, Making is a workshop that engages in a series of activities to look at movement from different angles of application, interpretation, and expression."
Andreas Schlegel
For the first activity of this class, we played around with a creative javascript coding platform called p5js. Quoting the slide from this class "p5js is often used in art and design schools around the world but has found its way into many other domains and communities that work with or are interested in coding. It is a perfect playground for learners of any age to explore the possibilities of code."
Andreas gave us homework to go out and collect numeric data. The subject is completely up to us. So, I collected a series of data of how many Tinder matches I got within 10-15 minutes of swiping over the course of 5 days. I went to many different locations around Singapore, those were the places where I hung out. The data to be collected were dates, the longitude and latitude of the location, and how many matches I got. This data was then converted into a cvs file and we uploaded them into a 3D map. The data was converted into shapes, big and small, sized according to the data collected, hovering around the map of Singapore.

Furthermore, we took this data to create a line chart that looks a lot like abstract artwork and took it a step further by turning it into an abstract movement of shapes and lines that looked like a cool windows screensaver.
